Temple Beth Emet Women's League

About Our TBE Women's League

The first meeting of the Temple Beth Emet Sisterhood, now the Temple Beth Emet Women's League, convened on January 23, 1956, before the temple was even chartered (TBE's History).  Membership is open to all Jewish women, but the Executive Board consists of TBE members only.  Our programs are designed to be educational, entertaining, foster leadership, and promote friendship.  We have fund raisers, serve refreshments at Friday night Onegs and Saturday afternoon kiddusim, operate the Temple's Judaica Shop and library.  The Women's League works with the Hebrew School Staff for Consecration, holiday parties, B'nai Mitzvah gifts, scholarships to camps and to Israel.
